In January 1981, the first Spanish boat to circumnavigate the world was launched. It was the "Licor 43".

Its designers were the naval engineers Pedro Morales and Joaquín Coello. The second was also his skipper and protagonist of the adventure, participating in the Whitwread Round the World.

We have had the honor that Joaquín Coello himself has bid and has won the scale model of this famous boat that CEHINAV-UPM has offered. And not only that, he has also commissioned us to repair it. We are going to work on it with all the love so that it looks like new.
