As we mentioned in the presentation of the project, the company Reby He commissioned us to repair his batteries. Although this task has started, we have had to stop it due to a repeated and continuous non-payment in the logistics tasks that we had contracted with them. At the moment the debt that Reby has contracted with La Sonrisa de Guille exceeds €60,000, with some invoices being overdue for more than a year.
Surely you will wonder how we got to this situation and why just two months ago, we continued to trust them. Although it may be difficult to understand, we will try to explain it in the best possible way:
In April of last year we began to accuse Reby of non-payment and we discussed it with them. At that time, we were told that they had treasury stress because the sale of the company was being planned and they needed the company to have as much capital as possible at the time of the operation. Indeed, that was the situation and in May of last year, the press published the sale of Reby to Canadian House of Lithium for $100,000,000.

You can imagine the joy we had at that time as service providers to Reby, since this situation was going to benefit us all. Despite this, the payments still did not arrive despite our insistence and we were always argued that it was because they were waiting for House of Lithium to execute their payment plan. At the turn of the summer we are told that they are in negotiations with House of Lithium because it wants to reduce the purchase price of Reby as much as possible and that the Canadians suspended payments as a measure of pressure. In October, this situation appeared in the press, stating that Reby had denounced House of Lithium at the end of August for non-payment:

Thus, from Reby we are asked to hold out a bit, claiming that the trial will never be held, since what House of Lithium wants is to negotiate and will pay shortly. Also at that time the case of Elon Musk and Twitter came up, this being a similar situation and forcing Musk to buy Twitter. According to what we have been told from the beginning by Reby, the court is the same as that case, the lawyers are the same... in short, they take it for granted. We are also told that, although unlikely, if the trial were to be lost, there are several companies interested in buying Reby and as time goes by there is good news:
In December the trial ends. According to what we are told, it is more than won and the sentence will come out on February 20, 2023. Despite the encouraging news, We have not been able to withstand the economic pressure any longer and have been forced to suspend activities for Reby (We remind you that the debt they have with us exceeds €60,000). Although until very recently we continued to trust that the situation was going to be reversed and we were going to get paid as soon as the trial was held or it was sold to another company, the latest news (already in January) does not make us have too much hope:
As you can see, Reby has withdrawn from almost all his places, so we see it as unlikely that the situation will be reversed.
In this situation, We have decided to freeze the project "An Electrifying Smile" until the situation with Reby is resolved or we find an alternative client. In this sense, we are contacting all possible shared electric mobility operators, to try to collaborate with them in this task.
